kindergartener with a zebra vest representing the letter z in The kindergarten fashion show

Twentynine Palms, CA — Palm Vista Elementary kindergarteners took center stage last Friday in a one-of-a-kind ABC Fashion Show, hosted by Ms. Eash’s and Mr. Von Esch’s classes.

The event combined literacy, creativity, and plenty of Panther Pride, making it a day to remember for students, staff, and families alike.

Each student created a paper vest decorated with items representing their assigned letter of the alphabet — from A is for Apple to Z is for Zebra. The results were colorful, imaginative, and uniquely personal. As the young learners walked the runway, they showed off not only their designs but also their growing confidence and joy for learning.

The program was brought to life with narration from Mr. Smith, who served as the energetic voice of the show. Parents and family members filled the audience, cheering on the students and celebrating their creativity. The supportive crowd made the day even more special, turning the event into a true community celebration.

“Events like this bring literacy to life,” said school staff. “Our kindergarteners aren’t just learning their letters—they’re experiencing them in a way that builds confidence, encourages creativity, and engages families in the process.”

The ABC Fashion Show reflects Palm Vista Elementary’s commitment to hands-on elementary school learning experiences that connect academics with real-world fun. For these young Panthers, it was more than just a fashion show—it was a chance to build confidence, celebrate early childhood education, and showcase the importance of literacy in kindergarten.

Palm Vista Elementary is proud of its kindergarteners for their hard work, creativity, and Panther spirit. 💚🐾
