STUDENTS AND FAMILIES:
There will be a meeting for the sophomore class TODAY during lunch in room L14 with class advisor Mr. Sanchez. All sophomore class officers must be present to discuss upcoming fundraisers and events. All other sophomores are invited as well. Be there and make your voice heard!
The first home football games are this Friday against Rancho Mirage. JV will play at 4, and varsity will play at 7. We will be kicking off the season with a Pirate themed home game! Come dressed ready to set sail and sink the ships of the opposing team. Students, please note that La Contenta Middle School students are not allowed to be at the football games without a parent or guardian of at least 18 years of age. They will be required to sit with the parent or guardian and won’t be let in without one. Middle school students found without a parent or guardian of at least 18 years of age will be asked to leave the game. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to “sea” you there!
Soak-a-Senior will be tomorrow, August 19 during lunch in front of the gym quad. It will be $3 for a cup of water to splash, $10 for a whole bucket to dump, and $20 to use the hose and spray someone down. Yes, the hose! Seniors, check your synergy emails for the Google Form to sign up to get soaked. The form is also on the ASB instagram. Only seniors who sign up will be allowed to participate. Bring a change of clothes!
If you are interested in boys basketball for the 26-27 school year, pick up a physical form in the ASB office or download it from the athletic section from the school website. Lady Trojans, if you are in need of a sports locker because you are currently in a sport at Yucca High, please email Mrs. Wright to receive a locker number and code.

Preseason wrestling practices are Mondays and Wednesdays in the wrestling room from 2 PM to 4 PM. Athletes need a current sports physical within the last year to fill out the athletic clearance online. If you have any questions, please stop by practice or email Coach Francis.
